Record number of citizens registered, Pakistan Citizen Portal

Pakistan Citizen Portal has witnessed a record increase in the number of citizens registered with it. It has risen to 3.7 million in total.

According to the statistics released by the Prime Minister Delivery Unit (PMDU), the number of registered citizens on the portal has risen to 3.7 million. Of them, 2.2 million citizens have got registered from Punjab, six hundred thousand from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, five hundred thousand from Sindh, 51,000 from Balochistan and 77,000 from the federal capital.

Citizens have got registered 4.4 million complaints on the portal. Of them, 4.2 million complaints were received from within the country and two hundred and fifteen thousand from abroad. Four million complaints have so far been disposed of. Forty-six percent citizens have expressed satisfaction over performance of the portal.
