Ramiz Raja expressed his excitement over his hosting rights for ICC Champions Trophy, being held in Pakistan in 2025.

Ramiz Raja, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman, expressed his delight at Pakistan getting the hosting rights for the ICC Champions Trophy in 2025. Ramiz said that hosting such a prestigious tournament is a matter of great pride and it will help develop the game even further in the country.
This will be the first time in almost thirty years that Pakistan will host a major ICC event. The last time Pakistan hosted an ICC event was back in 1996 when the country hosted the ICC Cricket World Cup alongside India and Sri Lanka.
