PM Shehbaz to visit Iran today to express condolences President Raisi's death

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif is set to visit the Islamic Republic of Iran today to express condolences following the tragic helicopter crash that resulted in the untimely demise of President Dr. Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi and Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian.

Accompanying the Prime Minister will be the Deputy Prime Minister and other senior members of the cabinet.

During his visit, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will pay respects to Supreme Leader Ayatollah Imam Khamenei and meet with Acting President of Iran, Dr. Mohammad Mokhber. He will convey heartfelt condolences on behalf of the people and Government of Pakistan.
