PM Shehbaz Sharif to leave for Qatar tomorrow to attend UN Conference on LDCs

Shehbaz Sharif will take part in the Doha, Qatar-based United Nations Conference on the Least Developed Countries (LDCs).

The Conference, which begins on Sunday and runs through the following Thursday, will discuss ways to accelerate sustainable development in the Least Developed Countries and assist them in moving forward on the path to prosperity.

On the fringes of the Conference, the PM will meet and converse with participating heads of state and government in private.

At UN forums, Pakistan has taken the lead in amplifying the collective voice of the Global South to advance sustainable development all around the world.

The PM’s attendance at the Conference will serve as a symbol of Pakistan’s unity and support for the Least Developed Countries in their pursuit of social advancement and economic growth.
