Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday arrived in Karachi for a day-long visit.

The prime minister will attend the active global joint naval exercises that the Pakistan Navy is conducting with the cooperation of naval troops from more than 50 countries when he is in Karachi.

These exercises, which take place every two years, are primarily designed to create an effective combined strategy against smugglers of weapons, drugs, and pirates.

In this context, the prime minister will receive a briefing.

In additional to seeing a display of coordinated action against pirates, Marriyum Aurangzeb stated that the prime minister will also watch other naval drills and the professionalism of the personnel taking part in the drills during his day-long visit.
