Former chief minister and president of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa resigned from party offices.

According to sources, the PTI leader stated that he had previously condemned the attacks on military installations on May 9 following the incarceration of former Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Pervez Khattak stated that he will make a decision on his future plans after consulting with colleagues. What occurred on May 9 was detrimental to the country and should not be repeated.

He stated that it is impossible for him to continue holding a party post, which is why he announced his retirement as president of the PTI KP.

Previously, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Amir Bakhsh Bhutto and Allah Bux Unar, along with others, left the party.

Amir Bakhsh Bhutto, speaking to journalists, condemned the May 9 incidents and called the attacks on military sites terrorism. He further stated that he had already excused himself from political participation.

It is worth noting that Asad Qaiser and Pervez Khattak were arrested today in the federal capital. They further stated that the PTI leaders had been relocated to a secret location.
