Australian High Commissioner Neil Hawkins, at the invitation of Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi, attended a PSL match held at Gaddafi Stadium. Chief Minister Naqvi warmly received the Australian High Commissioner, who extended congratulations on his election as PCB Chairman.
Expressing his appreciation for the successful organization of PSL 9, the Australian High Commissioner remarked, “The experience of watching the match is enhanced in the wonderful ambiance of Gaddafi Stadium.”
Chief Minister Naqvi thanked the Australian High Commissioner for gracing the match and expressed a desire for stronger cricketing relations, stating, “Both Pakistan and Australia share a deep love for cricket. Cricket promotes peace. I look forward to welcoming the Australian cricket team to Pakistan for a series.”
The event was attended by Provincial Ministers Mansoor Qadir, Amir Mir, Azfar Ali Nasir, Chief Operating Officer PCB Salman Naseer, Political Secretary of the Australian High Commissioner, and other dignitaries.
