Pakistan’s top senior tennis player, Talha Waheed, has made history by securing a place in the Guinness World Records for the most successful tennis serves in one minute. This remarkable achievement marks a proud moment for the country’s tennis community.

Pakistan’s Talha Waheed Sets Guinness World Record for Most Tennis Serves in One Minute

Talha broke the previous record of 42 successful serves in one minute, set by American player John Perry in 2019. His dedication and hard work led him to surpass this milestone, earning international recognition.

A seasoned tennis player, Talha has won multiple national titles in the 35+, 40+, and 45+ doubles categories. He has also represented Pakistan in International Tennis Federation (ITF) senior world ranking tournaments, achieving a career-best global ranking of 144 in the 40+ doubles category.

Determined to break the Guinness World Record, Talha underwent three months of rigorous training, refining his technique and speed. On November 8, 2024, in Lahore, he officially attempted the record under Guinness World Records’ guidelines.

His efforts bore fruit on March 10, 2025, when Guinness World Records officially recognized his achievement, declaring him the new world record holder.

Talha’s historic feat has been widely celebrated, with congratulations pouring in from across Pakistan. President of the Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF), Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi, Secretary General Ziauddin Tufail, and fellow players have praised his outstanding accomplishment, calling it a major milestone for Pakistani tennis.
