Arshad Nadeem, a famous Olympian from Pakistan, has advanced to the final round of the javelin throw sport at the Birmingham-hosted Commonwealth Games in 2022.
The 25-year-old made direct entry to the finale as qualifier rounds were not held by the organisers due to low entries for the game.
The athlete arrived in the UK last week in order to compete in the international competition. In expressing his opinion, he said that after suffering an injury for a year, he made a return at the World Athletics Championship held in America and placed fifth with a throw of 86.16 meters. He said that he is happy with his World Championship performance and that he has fully prepared for the Commonwealth Games.
