The Pakistan rice exports have surged by 10.73% during the first half of the current financial year 2021-22 as compared to last year.
According to the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics:
Pakistan exported rice worth 1066 million dollars during July-December (2021-22) against the exports of 963 million dollars during July-December (2020-21). It shows a growth of 10.73 percent.
Among the rice commodities, the exports of Basmati rice increased by 33.14%. Because these surged from $228 million last year to 304 million dollars during the current year.
