Pakistan power production from LNG grew 9% in Dec-21

Pakistan power production from LNG increased 9% more in December 2021 as compared to December 2020.

This was despite an unprecedented global shortage of LNG, said Energy Minister Hamad Azhar.

Ismail Iqbal Securities shared this news, saying:

Pakistan monthly electricity generation for Ex WAPDA District companies increased by 12% Year-on-Year in December 2021. Healthy economic activity along with the industrial support package remained major drivers behind increased electricity generation.
