📌 Strict Security Measures in Place as Teams Arrive from February 12

The federal cabinet has approved an extensive security plan for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, ensuring the safety of all participating teams through the deployment of the Pakistan Army, police, civil armed forces, and other law enforcement agencies under Article 245 of the Constitution.

With teams arriving from February 12, security arrangements have been elevated to presidential level, a decision made in response to requests from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), as well as the Punjab and Sindh governments. The Interior Ministry has already directed all relevant authorities to implement foolproof security protocols across the host cities.

Tournament Details & Security Plans

📍 Event Dates: February 19 – March 9
📍 Host Cities: Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi
📍 Security Forces Deployed: Pakistan Army, civil armed forces, police, law enforcement agencies

To counter any potential threats, anti-drone technology has been deployed, ensuring airspace security over the stadiums and training facilities.
