Pakistan and Saudi Arabia held a two-week joint military exercise at the National Counter-Terrorist Center earlier this month, focused on counter-terrorism operations.

Saudi and Pakistani military performed the combined Naseem Al-Bahr 13 naval exercise in September of last year, with Saudi F-15 fighter jets engaging in a missile fire simulation for the first time.

In February, Saudi Interior Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif paid a visit to Islamabad and promised to strengthen cooperation at the face of security threats in a meeting with Pakistani counterpart Sheikh Rashid Ahmed.
