It has been six years since Apple introduced the iPhone X in September 2017 at the Steve Jobs Theatre at the new Apple Park “spaceship” campus, but it remains a popular handset.

The iPhone X has an OLED display that supports Dolby Vision and HDR 10. It has a 5.8-inch Super Retina edge-to-edge display with a resolution of 2436 x 1125 pixels, runs iOS 11, and is powered by the company’s A11 Bionic chipset. It is also the first iPhone to include the facial recognition FaceID function.

The all-glass body iPhone X comes with a dual 12MP rear camera with dual optical image stabilization there’s also a 7MP front-facing shooter for selfies and video calling. The smartphone comes in two storage variants 64GB and 256GB.

Apple claims that facial recognition on the iPhone X can identify the face in the dark or even when the owner has a different hairstyle or look as well.

The facial recognition technology can also be used for payment authentication. Users can also access the home screen by just swiping up on the screen.

Apple iPhone X Price

The iPhone X is available in Pakistan for a price range of Rs40,000 to Rs60,000. The cost varies according to the state of the item.

When it was released in 2017, the iPhone X cost $999.

Tax for iPhone X Registration

The Federal Board of Revenue receives Rs68,250 in tax for registering an iPhone X with 64GB storage via passport, whereas it costs Rs87,750 to register via CNIC.

The tax authority charges Rs68,300 as tax for registering an iPhone X 128GB by passport and Rs87,800 via CNIC.

Please keep in mind that the PTA only offers technical assistance in the form of DIRBS, which allows applicants to register their mobile devices for use in Pakistan. The taxes/duties levied and collected by the FBR are deposited directly with the FBR.
