Indian Haryana CM suspends offering Namaz at public places

The Chief Minister of Indian Haryana state, Manohar Lal Khattar suspends offering namaz at public places.

In a statement, the Chief Minister said all previous sanctions given for public prayers stand nullified and the state government will ensure no open spaces are used for offering namaz.

Meanwhile, members of extremist Hindu organizations, in a bid to stop Juma namaz organized a condolence meeting for Chief of Defence Staff Bipin Rawat at the Namaz location, in Gurgaon city of Haryana.

Similarly, the Namaz prayers were disrupted at various places by members of Hindu right-wing organizations.

Earlier, in a meeting with the district administration, the Muslim organizations had decided to go ahead with Friday prayers at eighteen places including six temporary spots in Gurgaon.
