Lahore will host the 2025 ICC Women’s WC qualifier from April 9 to 19.

With the Qualifier competition scheduled for April 9–19 in Lahore, Pakistan, the path to the ICC Women’s WC qualifier 2025 is getting hotter. Six teams will compete in a 15-match round robin style in this pivotal event for the final two berths in the coveted World Cup, which will take place in India later this year.

Locations & Structure

Both the Lahore City Cricket Association (LCCA) Ground and Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore will host all of the tournament’s games. Each team will play every other team once thanks to the round-robin system, and the top two teams will advance to the 2025 ICC Women’s WC.

Teams Taking Part

For the qualifications, six teams have been confirmed:

Complete Members:

  • Bangladesh (Host) Pakistan
  • Ireland
  • The West Indies

Associate Participants:

  • Scotland and Thailand

These teams were chosen in accordance with their global rankings and ICC Women’s WC qualifier standings. Thailand and Scotland are the top two rated teams outside of that list, while the four Full Members qualified by placing seventh through tenth in the Championship.

Teams Already Qualified for Women’s WC 2025

The following teams have already secured their place in the World Cup:

  • Australia
  • England
  • New Zealand
  • South Africa
  • Sri Lanka
  • India

With these six teams already in, only two spots remain, making the Lahore qualifier a high-stakes, must-watch tournament.

  • Tournament End: April 19, 2025
  • Location: Lahore, Pakistan
  • Venues: Gaddafi Stadium & LCCA Ground
