ICC announces prize money for Champions Trophy 2025

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has unveiled the prize money for the 2025 Champions Trophy, increasing the total prize pool by 53% compared to the previous edition.

According to the announcement, the total prize pool for the tournament will be $690,000. The winning team will receive $2.24 million (over Rs620 million), while the runner-up will be awarded $1.12 million (more than Rs31 crore).

Prize Distribution Breakdown

Semi-finalists: Each losing semi-finalist will receive $560,000 (over Rs15.5 crore).
Group Stage Wins: Teams will earn $34,000 for each match victory in the group stage.
5th & 6th Place Teams: $350,000 each.
7th Place Team: $140,000.
Participation Bonus: Every participating team will receive $125,000.

Champions Trophy 2025 Schedule


The 2025 ICC Champions Trophy will be hosted in Pakistan from February 19 to March 9. Below is the full match schedule:

Feb 20 (Thu): Bangladesh vs India – Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai
Feb 21 (Fri): Afghanistan vs South Africa – National Stadium, Karachi
Feb 22 (Sat): Australia vs England – Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore
Feb 23 (Sun): Pakistan vs India – Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai
Feb 24 (Mon): Bangladesh vs New Zealand – Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Rawalpindi
Feb 25 (Tue): Australia vs South Africa – Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Rawalpindi
Feb 26 (Wed): Afghanistan vs England – Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore
Feb 27 (Thu): Pakistan vs Bangladesh – Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Rawalpindi
Feb 28 (Fri): Afghanistan vs Australia – Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore
Mar 01 (Sat): South Africa vs England – National Stadium, Karachi
Mar 02 (Sun): New Zealand vs India – Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai
