Govt taking steps to regulate medicines prices: Dr. Faisal

Prime Minister’s Special Assistant on National Health Dr. Faisal Sultan says the government is taking concrete measures to regulate the prices of medicines.

Prime Minister’s Special Assistant on National Health Dr. Faisal Sultan was Addressing a ceremony regarding online drug certification in Islamabad on Monday.

Prime Minister’s Special Assistant on National Health Dr. Faisal Sultan said in his address:

“We are also making efforts to facilitate the people linked with drug industry.”

Moreover, The Special Assistant said:

“The main objective of such measures is to ensure availability of medicines at low prices without compromising standard.”

He also stressed that automation is need of the hour in every field and doctors’ prescriptions should utilize it

This news comes after US and International economies just announced an increase in medicinal prices.
