Gold Prices in Pakistan fall to Rs.242800/- per tola on 21st May

The Price of 24K Gold in Pakistan has overall reduced to Rs. 242800/- per tola from Rs.243350/- per tola. After yesterday’s increase of Rs.950/- in the rate, this reduction of Rs.550/- becomes somewhat significant. The increase in rate however does not even recover from this. Reduction in the price of Gold possibly signifies an improvement in the economic situation of the country. However, this decrease barely violates the increasing trend in gold price overall in Pakistan. Gold prices globally have hit record high with the death of the Iranian President. This is a reflection of the fact that geopolitical situation can massively impact gold prices. Following this current rate, the price of gold per 10 gram in Pakistan becomes Rs.208170/- which is considerably high.
