Former federal minister Fawad Chaudhry was detained on a Saturday from his residence in Islamabad and transported to an undisclosed location. This event was verified by his wife, Hiba Fawad Chaudhary, who mentioned that her husband was apprehended by a combination of uniformed police officers and individuals in plain clothing.
Hiba expressed her concerns, saying, “We have not been informed of the reasons behind Fawad’s detention,” during an interview with Geo News.
Furthermore, Chaudhry’s wife utilized X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, to inform the public about her husband’s detainment. She shared a post that read, “Fawad has been detained and taken to an undisclosed location.”
