After more than two decades in music, Pakistani singer and actor Farhan Saeed is making a powerful return with his debut solo album, Khat, which he describes as “a letter from my heart to yours.”
The former Jal frontman announced the project through a series of artistic visuals created by Umair Fayyaz, showcasing each song as a sketch or painting on a notebook-style canvas. The creative concept mirrors the album’s intimate and emotional tone, symbolizing a personal message to his listeners.
Set for release on November 14, Khat marks Farhan’s grand comeback under the Warner Music and Silent Roar global distribution network — signaling his step onto the international music stage.
Featuring 10 soulful tracks in Urdu and Punjabi, the album blends nostalgia with freshness. The tracklist includes: ‘Khat’, ‘Beparwah’, ‘Phul Ghulab Da’, ‘Manzar’, ‘Meri Maa’, ‘Ja Vey Mahiya’, ‘Ameer Ban Jaun’, ‘Tere Naal’, ‘Ye Kia Ho Gya’ and ‘Na Kar Majboor’. Four of these songs will also receive full music video releases, giving fans a deeper visual connection to his storytelling.
In an interview with Variety, Farhan shared, “Music has always been something I’ve lived. My fans have always understood and connected with me through my songs. This album is inspired by their love — it’s a khat from my heart to theirs.”
After years of chart-topping singles and beloved TV anthems, the ‘Thori Der’ singer is ready to take his music global — and with Warner Music backing him, Khat may just become the biggest milestone of his career.
