Prime Minister Imran Khan has advised the Pakistan Cricket team to play aggressively as no team can win by presenting defensive game.
Talking to members of Pakistan Cricket team in Islamabad on Wednesday, he said we introduced attacking techniques in the cricket.
The Prime Minister asked the cricketers to demonstrate team spirit, confidence and always play the game to win. He said no team can win, which plays to prevent a defeat.
Recalling his cricketing days, Imran Khan said we brought out our team from the worst scenario and won the World Cup. He said an individual learns a lot from his defeat as there is no one, who has not lost anything in his life. He said a person rectifies his mistakes if he ensures his personal accountability on the end of every day. He stressed the need to strengthen the team’s nerves so that it can enjoy the pressure.
The Prime Minister said stopping runs and taking wickets are two different techniques. He urged the cricketers to work hard to form a strong team as the entire nation has attached high hopes with them.
