'China-Pakistan naval exercise enhanced ability to deal with maritime security threats'

China says recently concluded China-Pakistan joint naval exercise off Shanghai has consolidated the traditional friendship between the two countries.

A Chinese Defense Ministry Spokesperson Wu Qian said during his monthly briefing that the exercise also enhanced the ability of the two navies to jointly deal with maritime security threats.
