Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has announced the provision of free solar panels to households consuming up to 200 units of electricity. Additionally, for those using between 200 and 500 units, interest-free loans will be available, with the government covering 75 percent of the loan amount.
Applications for the Bank of Punjab Solar Scheme are now open. Interested individuals can apply by downloading the application form and submitting it at the nearest Bank of Punjab branch.
Solar Scheme Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be a Pakistani citizen.
- Must possess a valid CNIC.
- Must own the property or have authorization from the property owner for installing solar panels.

- Application Review:
- After submission, the application undergoes review by relevant authorities. Please be patient during this process.
- Notification and Installation:
- Upon approval, applicants will receive notification regarding the status of their application and the subsequent installation of the solar panel system.
