Former president and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari revealed his desire to see his son Bilawal Bhutto Zardari as Pakistan’s prime minister (PM) in his life.

Asif Ali Zardari stated to elected local government (LG) delegates and Zardari clan members in Nawabshah that he wishes to see Bilawal Bhutto Zardari as Pakistan’s prime minister in his lifetime.

He stated that they deposed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) head Imran Khan as prime minister in order to preserve the country. “PPP is simply the incumbent government’s coalition partner.” We will employ the people like we have done in the past since taking power.”

“I did so much for my people and they stand beside me after my father. Now, these people should now support Bilawal and Aseefa. You should maintain unity and harmony, as well as work hard for the next generations.”

Earlier, Zardari welcomed the CJP’s idea that political parties meet to discuss the election schedule. Asif Zardari noted that political groups had begun talks to resolve the election issue.

He stated that when the PDM coalition parties reach an agreement for the general elections, the PDM will approach the opposition as well.

According to PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari, if the CJP grants some time, holding polls on one day will be doable through talks.
