Aseefa Bhutto Zardari, First Lady of Pakistan and a Member of the National Assembly, took center stage at the Global Women’s Forum in Dubai, hosted by the Dubai Women Establishment. The event highlighted key issues surrounding women’s empowerment and gender equality, emphasizing the need to create leadership opportunities for women worldwide.

The forum attracted around 6,000 dignitaries and gender equality advocates from across the globe. During a panel discussion, Aseefa underscored the pivotal role Pakistani women play in shaping the country’s social, economic, and political landscape.

In a bilateral meeting with Sheikha Latifa Bint Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of the Dubai Culture & Arts Authority, Aseefa discussed potential collaborations aimed at fostering cultural exchange and advancing women’s empowerment initiatives between Pakistan and Dubai.

Throughout the two-day event, Aseefa also met with Mona Ghanem Al Marri, Chairperson of the Dubai Women Establishment, to explore strategies for enhancing women’s leadership and promoting global cooperation to expand opportunities for women.

Pakistan and the UAE share a longstanding relationship built on mutual respect, cultural affinity, and historical ties. Over the years, both nations have deepened their bilateral cooperation across diverse sectors, including trade, investment, and energy, contributing to regional stability and economic growth.

In addition to economic collaboration, Pakistan and the UAE work closely in education, healthcare, and cultural initiatives. The significant Pakistani expatriate community in the UAE plays a crucial role in strengthening this partnership, serving as a bridge between the two countries.

As the relationship between Pakistan and the UAE continues to evolve, it remains focused on fostering prosperity, development, and opportunities for both nations.
