Abu Dhabi University Announces Fully funded Scholarship for Students

Abu Dhabi University (ADU) has recently announced an extensive range of prestigious scholarships available for the academic year 2024-2025, providing a diverse array of opportunities for students pursuing higher education.

The scholarship program encompasses both undergraduate and postgraduate studies, with a primary focus on recognizing academic achievements and extracurricular accomplishments.

ADU is dedicated to promoting inclusivity and equal access to education on a global scale. The various scholarships cater to a wide range of students, offering:

Undergraduate Programs

  • Academic Scholarship: This provides a 20% tuition fee waiver for undergraduate students with a minimum CGPA of 3.60, including continuing ADU students.
  • Alumni Scholarship: A 20% tuition fee waiver for former ADU students pursuing postgraduate studies.
  • Athletic Scholarship: Active participants in Abu Dhabi sports teams can benefit from a 25% tuition fee waiver for undergraduate programs.
  • University Scholarship: This offers a 15% to 50% tuition fee waiver for GCC candidates and UAE residents pursuing undergraduate programs.
  • Family Tuition Waiver: Families with multiple students at ADU can receive tuition fee waivers of up to 15%, 20%, or 25% for eligible family members.

Graduate Programs

Merit-based Graduate Scholarship: Graduate students with an undergraduate CGPA of 3.5 or higher can enjoy a 25% reduction in tuition fees.

H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Scholarship: This fully funded opportunity covers 100% of tuition fees, application fees, registration fees, and additional services for undergraduate programs.

Eligibility

These scholarships are open to international students globally and local UAE students, with varying requirements based on CGPA and program levels. Applicants must be formally admitted to ADU to qualify.

Application Process

The application process commences post-formal admission to ADU and can be accessed through the Financial Aid and Scholarships section in the student’s university account. The deadline for applying for the Abu Dhabi University Scholarships for the Spring Semester is February 16, 2024.

Documentation

Essential documents, including passport copies, transcripts, degrees, proof of English language proficiency, Emirates ID copies, and police clearance certificates, are necessary for the application process.
