Nvidia Supplier Wistron Opens $700 Million Texas Plant to Build Next-Gen AI Chips
Taiwan’s Wistron, a key manufacturing partner for Nvidia, officially launched a $700 million facility in Fort Worth, Texas on Tuesday, marking another major step in the broader push by Taiwanese electronics manufacturers to expand their production footprint within the United States as global demand for AI infrastructure continues to soar.

The Fort Worth facility is dedicated to manufacturing Nvidia’s GB300 Grace Blackwell Ultra Superchip, a component central to what Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang has described as the most powerful AI supercomputer in the world. According to Wistron, this is the very site where Nvidia’s first GB300 Grace Blackwell Ultra Superchip was both built and mass-produced within the United States, giving the plant a symbolic significance well beyond its production output alone.
