Lahore – Pakistan’s premier fast bowlers, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Haris Rauf, added a new feather to their caps by becoming the latest Pakistani bowlers to reach the 300-wicket mark in T20 cricket, during their match against Islamabad United in HBL Pakistan Super League Season 10 (PSL X).

Shaheen Afridi reached the historic milestone in his 216th T20 match, making him the fastest Pakistani and fourth-fastest bowler in the world to reach 300 T20 wickets. His rapid rise continues to reflect his dominance in white-ball formats and his reputation as a match-winner in high-pressure games.

Haris Rauf followed closely, achieving the feat in his 228th T20 appearance, becoming the second-fastest Pakistani to enter the 300-wicket club. His express pace and wicket-taking abilities have made him a vital component of Pakistan’s T20 attack and a fan favorite in leagues across the world.

Previously, the record for the fastest Pakistani to 300 T20 wickets was held jointly by Mohammad Amir and Wahab Riaz, both reaching the mark in 256 innings. Shaheen and Haris have now surpassed that benchmark, underlining their elite status in the format.

🏏 Most T20 Wickets by Pakistani Bowlers (All-time):

  • Wahab Riaz – 413 wickets (344 innings)
  • Sohail Tanvir – 389 wickets (381 innings)
  • Mohammad Amir – 371 wickets (315 innings)
  • Imad Wasim – 353 wickets (376 innings)
  • Shahid Afridi – 347 wickets (323 innings)
  • Shadab Khan – 336 wickets (297 innings)
  • Shaheen Shah Afridi – 300 wickets (215 innings)
  • Haris Rauf – 300 wickets (228 innings)

In PSL 10, Shaheen has been leading Lahore Qalandars’ pace attack with 9 wickets in 7 matches, with his best figures being 3/34 so far. His consistency and leadership as captain continue to play a pivotal role in Qalandars’ bowling strategy.

This dual milestone has not only strengthened Lahore Qalandars’ bowling unit but also highlights the depth of Pakistan’s fast-bowling legacy in T20 cricket.
