The New Zealand cricket team landed in Lahore early Wednesday morning to participate in the upcoming tri-nation one-day international (ODI) series featuring Pakistan, New Zealand, and South Africa. The series is set to begin on February 8, with the Kiwis facing the hosts at Qaddafi Stadium in Lahore. Following the series, New Zealand will compete in the Champions Trophy starting on February 19.


The New Zealand cricket team arrived in Lahore on Wednesday morning to participate in a highly anticipated tri-nation one-day international (ODI) series, which will feature Pakistan, New Zealand, and South Africa. The team, which arrived under tight security, was transported directly from the Allama Iqbal International Airport to their hotel in the city. The squad is set to face Pakistan on February 8 at Qaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

The team includes several key players, such as captain Kane Williamson, Daryl Mitchell, Michael Bracewell, Mark Chapman, Devon Conway, and Lockie Ferguson, all of whom are expected to play crucial roles in the series. Before their first match against Pakistan, the Kiwis are scheduled to hold a practice session at Qaddafi Stadium on February 6.

The tri-nation ODI series will take place in both Lahore and Karachi and will feature four exciting matches, with the series set to begin on February 8. Following the completion of the series, New Zealand will participate in the prestigious Champions Trophy, set to begin on February 19.

The arrival of the New Zealand team has generated excitement among cricket fans, as the series will provide a platform for both the Kiwis and the host nation, Pakistan, to fine-tune their preparations ahead of upcoming international tournaments.
