ISLAMABAD – Belarusian President Aleksandar Lukashenko is set to land in Islamabad today for a three-day official visit aimed at strengthening diplomatic and trade relations between Belarus and Pakistan.
During his stay, President Lukashenko will meet with Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and other senior officials. Discussions will focus on enhancing cooperation across various sectors, including trade, technology, and cultural exchange. The visit is expected to result in the signing of several key agreements and Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs), further solidifying the partnership between the two countries.
This high-level visit underscores the growing ties between Belarus and Pakistan, demonstrating a shared commitment to broadening economic, diplomatic, and cultural collaboration.
Ahead of the President’s arrival, a Belarusian ministerial delegation led by Foreign Minister Maxim Ryzhenkov has already reached Islamabad and was welcomed by Pakistan’s Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi. The delegation’s presence highlights the significance of this visit in fostering long-term bilateral cooperation.
President Lukashenko’s trip marks an important step in deepening the relationship between the two nations, setting the stage for enhanced collaboration and mutual growth in the years to come.
