Lahore Receives Heavy Monsoon Rains; More Showers Expected. The early morning downpour brought much-needed relief to the residents of Lahore, as temperatures dropped below 30°C. Despite the cooler temperatures, humidity levels remained high at around 85%.

The heavy rain inundated low-lying areas, causing significant waterlogging and disrupting daily life in the metropolis. Areas such as Tajpura, Garhi Shahu, Lakshmi Chowk, Sanda, and Samanabad experienced severe water accumulation, creating problems for commuters and residents alike. The rain also led to power outages in several parts of the city as multiple feeders tripped.
