President, PM discuss overall situation of country

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and President Asif Ali Zardari exchanged Eid greetings over the telephone today. They discussed the overall political situation in the country and expressed their determination to work together for the nation’s betterment.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also reached out to the Governors of all four provinces, extending Eid ul Azha greetings. Additionally, he spoke with Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz, Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah, and Chief Minister Gilgit Baltistan Gulber Khan to convey Eid wishes.

The Prime Minister extended his Eid greetings to President Azad Jammu and Kashmir Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry and Prime Minister of AJK Chaudhry Anwar ul Haq.

Furthermore, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif called various political leaders, including PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto, President JUI Maulana Fazal ur Rehman, President PML-Q Chaudhary Shujaat Hussain, Chairman MQM-P Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Abdul Aleem Khan, Sardar Khalid Magsi, Sardar Akhtar Mengal, Aftab Sherpao, and Professor Sajid Mir.

During these conversations, the Prime Minister highlighted the efforts made in the new fiscal year’s budget to provide relief to the people. He expressed hope that all parties in the coalition government would continue contributing to Pakistan’s economic stability. The political leaders congratulated the Prime Minister on Eid ul Azha, expressed their best wishes, and committed to ongoing cooperation with the coalition government.
