Former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan on Monday reached Islamabad High Court (IHC) to seek bail before arrest in seven cases registered against him.

Former prime minister Imran Khan reached Islamabad via road from Zaman Park. Imran Khan’s vehicle was allowed to enter the IHC grounds amid security alerts.

Bail pleas, reservations

The Islamabad High Court received many applications for bail before the arrest filed by Imran Khan.

The petition argued that since cases of political retaliation had been filed, the court was prevented to stop the parties from arresting the petitioner.

On the other hand, the Islamabad High Court has raised objections to Imran Khan’s 7 bail before arrest petitions. The registrar’s office of the Islamabad High Court has raised 2 each objection.

Islamabad police finalise strategy to arrest PTI workers

The Registrar’s Office objected that Imran Khan had not done biometrics and that an application could be filed in the High Court before the trial court.

Islamabad police plan to arrest PTI workers

According to sources, Islamabad police have prepared a plan to detain Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) members as Imran Khan arrives in the federal capital. Khan is the leader of the PTI.
According to information, the Islamabad police, for whom teams have been assigned assignments, would likely arrest the people sought during the March 18 protests.

The injured DIG operations, SSP operations, and other top officers were present in the meeting, which was presided over by IG Islamabad in connection with Imran Khan’s appearance in court, according to the Islamabad police spokesman.
