The second round of defence dialogue between Pakistan and the United States will be held from today (Monday).
The Pak-US defence conversation is set to take place in Washington from February 13–16, according to a representative for Pakistan’s Foreign Office.
The statement added that Pakistan hosted the first round of the dialogue in January 2021.
Senior representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Joint Staff Headquarters, and three military services headquarters will make up Pakistan’s team, which will be led by the Chief of General Staff, according to the foreign office.
The statement states that the office of the undersecretary of defence will represent the US team.
During the defence dialogue, the subjects of bilateral defence and security cooperation will be addressed.
