Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif has called for constructive talks between Pakistan and India to resolve their burning issues like Kashmir.

Instead of wasting money on weapons and war, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif highlighted the need to eliminate poverty and start offering opportunities for employment, healthcare, and educational opportunities.

Need to get down to the table and have serious, sincere conversations, the prime minister reportedly told the Indian government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

He said that the three wars between Pakistan and India only served to increase the suffering, destitution, and unemployment of their respective populations.

According to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, neither country will be able to explain what happened if a war breaks out between the two nuclear-armed, heavily armed countries.

He regretted that terrible human rights abuses continue to occur daily in Jammu and Kashmir, which India has illegally occupied.

He said that since August 2019, New Delhi had even violated the autonomy given to Kashmiris under Article 370 of the Indian Constitution.

Speaking about Pakistan’s relations with Gulf countries, PM Shehbaz Sharif said they are working together as strategic partners.

He said the leadership of Pakistan and Gulf countries have resolved to cooperate with each other in the realm of trade and culture, besides projecting Islam as a religion of peace and shunning all forms of terrorism.

According to Shehbaz Sharif, Neighborly Gulf states and Saudi Arabia,  are reliable and reliable partners of Pakistan and have consistently provided it with significant and concrete support to help it overcome its difficulties.
