Highlighting the government’s initiatives, he announced the commencement of 70 new IT projects, with an estimated cost of 75 billion rupees.

Minister Amin-ul-Haq emphasized the importance of local production, stating that smartphones are now being manufactured within the country and made available at highly affordable prices. This development is set to improve accessibility and affordability, enabling more individuals to benefit from technological advancements.

Furthermore, the Minister outlined special measures being taken to ensure internet availability in small cities and villages. Recognizing the significance of connectivity, efforts are underway to bridge the digital divide and provide equal opportunities for individuals in all areas of the country.

In another significant announcement, Minister Amin-ul-Haq revealed that an agreement has been signed with Google, paving the way for 45,000 scholarships to be granted. This number is expected to rise to an impressive 450,000 scholarships in the coming year. Notably, forty percent of these scholarships will be allocated for women, promoting gender inclusivity and encouraging female participation in the IT sector.

The Minister also highlighted the presence of eight functional National Incubation Centers across major cities in the country. These centers play a crucial role in fostering innovation and nurturing startups, providing entrepreneurs with the necessary support and resources to thrive in the competitive IT landscape.

The commitment of Federal IT Minister Amin-ul-Haq to bolster IT facilities for the youth reflects the government’s dedication to harnessing the potential of the younger generation. By investing in IT infrastructure, promoting local production, and facilitating access to education and resources, the government aims to empower the youth and pave the way for a technologically advanced and prosperous future.
