“Taraqee Foundation” an NGO, collaborated with United Nations Development Programme, Pakistan, Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF) and Forest and Wildlife Department of Balochistan. Initiated a mass Trees Plantation Drive known as “Chand Meri Zameen, Phool Mera Watan.”

Moreover, the target of the NGO is to plant over 15000 saplings in Quetta City, 35,000 in Maseelah 25,000 in Band Khushdil Khan and 10,000 each in Pishin and Noshki.

The campaign carries a motto of making the province clean and green. Which is bringing together various stakeholders, including government officials, local and international organisations, UN agencies, students, general public and volunteers.

Furthermore, An inauguration ceremony was held at the Police Complex in Noshki which was attended by PPAF manager Adnan Rao, DIG of Rakhshan division Javed Jaskani, Commandant of Frontier Corps, Noshki, Colonel Asif, former minister Haji Ghulam Dastagir Badini, President of Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists Shahzada Zulfiqar and members of Hindu community. Thus, Trees Plantation Drive is in progress in the targetted areas.
