The Saudi-Pak Tech exhibition, known as Leap 2024, recently took place in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. The event was a significant gathering for Pakistan’s IT industry, with seventy-four companies and eight hundred delegates representing the sector. Organized jointly by the Pakistan Software Houses Association, the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), and the Pakistan Embassy in Riyadh, the exhibition aimed to showcase the capabilities of Pakistan’s tech sector on an international platform.

This year’s edition of the exhibition saw participation from one hundred and seventy-two thousand individuals representing one hundred and eighty-three countries. The Pakistani IT industry’s pavilion stood out prominently at the event, attracting attention from IT representatives and professionals worldwide. The expo served as a platform for Pakistani software and IT companies to engage with leading firms from Saudi Arabia and other countries, resulting in the signing of several agreements and partnerships.

Speaking at the event, Pakistani Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Ahmad Farooq underscored the significance of the strong presence of Pakistani firms at the Saudi-Pak Tech Expo. He emphasized the potential for fostering closer ties between Pakistan and the Middle East, particularly in the field of IT. The exhibition served as a testament to the growing recognition of Pakistan’s IT prowess on the global stage and highlighted opportunities for collaboration and mutual growth in the tech sector.
