Qatar and Saudi Arabia re-opened the Land border on Saturday in accordance to the new deal which is cracked between Saudia Arabia and Qatar in order to reinstate ties between the two countries and maximise business.

As back in 2017 Saudi Locked the Qatar only Land border as a part of a package penalty. Moreover, along with Saudia Arabia, United Arab emirates, Bahrain and Egypt which also urged restrictions on embargo, Travel and Trade has decided to uplift the restrictions in a gulf cooperation summit in the kingdom on Tuesday.

Earlier before the Summit a Kuwaiti foreign Minister Ahmad Nasser Al-Sabah
declared on the state television that measures have been taken to reopen the airspace, land and sea borders in between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and State of Qatar.

After the news broke that the border has reopened a trivial number of cars came at the palm tree-lined whitewash border post to make a short junction to Arabia.

However, Due to the closing of the border many Qataris were away from there loved ones in Arabia and couldn’t visit Makkah and Medina to perform Hajj and Umrah pilgrims as both the saudi cities are the prime focus of Islam to which a Qatari Jaber al-Marri who was leaning towards the checkpoint stated “I am very Happy on the reopening of the border”adding that he had relatives in the neighbouring country.

Qatar has also reported that strict measures will be taken to control the Corona Virus Outrage for those coming from the Saudi Side.

Furthermore, Qatari Hamad al-Marri was very pleased and excited driving his cruiser to go hunting falcons and meeting his Loved ones after a time span of three and a half year.
