Light rain began in several parts of Islamabad on Monday, bringing a noticeable drop in temperature and refreshing the city’s atmosphere. The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast more rain across the country, including the twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi, from November 4 to 5.

The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has also issued a weather alert for multiple districts in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), warning of intermittent rain and snowfall expected to continue until November 5. Authorities have directed district administrations to remain vigilant and take precautionary measures to prevent any untoward incidents.

The PDMA cautioned that landslides could disrupt road connectivity in hilly regions, urging residents and travelers to exercise caution. Meanwhile, the light showers in Islamabad have brought temporary relief from dry weather but also intensified the winter chill, signaling the onset of the cold season in the capital.
