The winter Vacation schedule for all colleges and universities in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has been released by the governments of the two provinces.

The KP administration said that the winter break will start on January 1 and last 45 days, or until February 15, in the province’s colder parts.

Colleges and universities located in the province’s plains won’t be taking a break, though.

Winter breaks have also been scheduled by the Punjabi government for both public and private institutions and universities. The Secretary of HED has officially announced that the Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) would be closed from December 24 through December 31.

The statement noted that academic activities would resume at the educational institutions on January 2.

The Sindh government announced winter vacations for the whole state on December 8.
