Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal claims that since the new government took power, the development of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor has accelerated.

In an interview with Pang Chunxue, the Chinese Charge d’Affaires to Pakistan, in Islamabad, he stated that frequent meetings are conducted for the implementation of the CPEC projects.
