PM launched National Sehat Card in Faisalabad

Prime Minister Imran Khan arrived in Faisalabad today on a one-day visit. The Prime Minister also launched the New Pakistan National Sehat Card Program in Faisalabad Division.

The New Pakistan National Health Card is a revolutionary program of the government under which free treatment facilities up to Rs. 1 million per family per annum will be available in government and selected private hospitals.

About 73% of the population of Punjab is able to avail this facility after its launch in Faisalabad division. Apart from Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, Thar Parkar District, Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir have the facility of National Health Cards.

The Prime Minister also addressed the launching ceremony on the occasion held at University of Agriculture, Faisalabad. Pakistan watched live broadcast of PM’s Address on television.

Later, the Prime Minister will also meet elected members of National and Provincial Assemblies from Gujranwala Division and members of Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI).

Prime Minister Imran Khan along with Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar also distributed Naya Pakistan Qaumi Sehat Card among people belonging to four districts of Faisalabad, Chiniot, Toba Tek Singh and Jhang on the occasion.

Moreover, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar addressed the launch, saying that:

“After launching of this program in the four districts of Faisalabad, overall 73% of total population of Punjab will be able to get benefit from the program.”

Furthermore, Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting, Farrukh Habib addressed the launch, saying that:

“Under this program, three point two million families of Faisalabad Division will get free of cost medical treatment.”

PM Imran Khan Address to Launching Ceremony of National Health Card in Faisalabad

Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that:

“Pakistan National Health Card is the major step towards transforming Pakistan into a welfare state on the model of Riasat-e-Madina”

The Prime Minister said that

“We are spending a huge amount of PKR 400 billion on this revolutionary project of the health sector in Punjab only.”

He also said in his address that::

“Keeping in view the economic condition of the country; it was not an easy task to launch such a revolutionary project. It provides the provision of quality health treatment free of cost to the common man.”

Further, PM Imran Khan said that:

“The private sector will set up hospitals in small cities and villages under the Health Card project. It will provide provision of medical treatment to the masses at their door steps”.

He also said in his address that:

“The government is fully aware about its responsibilities to facilitate the women population and in this regard, more measures will be taken for their protection and granting them more rights.”

Moreover, the Prime Minister Imran Khan said that:

“Supremacy of law is the basis for progress of any state as in all developed countries rule of law is superior to personalities.”

Prime Minister Imran Khan also announced that:

“The corrupt opposition leaders will be brought to book, despite all their efforts to evade accountability by different means.”
