PM awards certificates to 10 best performing ministers

PM Imran Khan distributed certificates of appreciation to the 10 best performing federal ministers. The government held the ceremony in Islamabad today.

Performance agreements were signed between the Prime Minister’s Office and the Federal Ministries under which all the Ministries set targets.

Performance agreements help to improve performance, meet targets, address public issues, formulate effective policy and compile the data needed for good governance.

Moreover, The main purpose of these agreements is to evaluate the performance of ministries, enforce penalties and penalties for government officials, and improve service delivery.

Prime Minister Imran Khan also addressed the Certificates of Appreciation Ceremony in the 10 Best Performing Federal Ministries.

Speaking on the occasion, Prime Minister Imran Khan also said:

“No system in the world can succeed without punishment and retribution. Improved performance of ministries is very critical to achieve the country’s self-sufficient target.”

Moreover, Speaking on the occasion Prime Minister Imran Khan said:

“We need to find unconventional solutions to the economic challenges. The government is fully focusing on ensuring good governance and the main objective is to improve the lives of the people.” 

Further, Speaking on the occasion Prime Minister Imran Khan said:

“Performance-based incentives are essential for positive change in the bureaucracy. Incentives will be increased for best performing ministries in future.”

Imran Khan also called for exploring non-traditional ways to meet economic challenges.

Earlier Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Establishment Mohammad Shehzad Arbab also briefed the Prime Minister about the evaluation and assessment process of performance of ministries.

10 Best Performing Federal Ministers

Those who received the certificates from the Prime Minister included Minister for Communications Murad Saeed, Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar, Special Assistant on Poverty Alleviation Sania Nishtar, Minister for Education Shafqat Mahmood, Minister for Human Rights Shireen Mazari, Minister for Industries and Production Khusro Bakhtiyar, Advisor on National Security Division Dr Moeed Yusuf, Adviser on Commerce Razak Dawood, Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed, and Minister for National Food Security Fakhar Imam.
