Pakistan Textile Exports Grew 27% in 1st Quarter of FY22

Pakistan Textile Exports Grew 27% in 1st Quarter of FY22

Pakistan textile exports in the first Quarter (3 months) of Fiscal year 2021-2022 grew by 27.41% to $4.420 billions as compared to $3.469 billion in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year 2020-2021.

The Pakistan Bureau of Statistics about Pakistan Textile Exports

Pakistan Cotton yarn exports grew by 69.30% to $288.617 million in the first quarter of fiscal year 2021-2022 as compared to $170.475 million in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year 2020-2021.

However, Pakistan Raw cotton exports declined by 100% in the first quarter of fiscal year 2021-2022 as compared to the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year 2020-2021.

Pakistan Petroleum Imports grew by 97.28% to $4.592 billion in the first quarter of fiscal year 2021-2022 as compared to $2.328 billion in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year 2020-2021.

Pakistan Construction Machinery Imports grew by 23.48% to $38.635 million in the first quarter of fiscal year 2021-2022 as compared to $31.289 million in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year 2020-2021.

While, Pakistan Total Exports provisionally grew 27.87% to $6.997 billion in the first quarter of fiscal year 2021-2022 as compared to $5.472 billion in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year 2020-2021.

And Pakistan Total Imports provisionally grew 66.11% to $18.747 billion in the first quarter of fiscal year 2021-2022 as compared to $11.286 billion in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year 2020-2021.

Pakistan trade deficit widens by 102.10% to $11.750 billion in the first quarter of fiscal year 2021-2022 as compared to $5.817 billion in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year 2020-2021.
