Pakistan Railways has unveiled the Railway Automated Booking and Travel Assistance (RABTA) application, a significant initiative aimed at enhancing the overall travel experience for passengers. Railway Minister Shahid Ashraf Tarar introduced this innovative app with the goal of modernizing train travel in Pakistan.
The RABTA app is poised to revolutionize the planning and execution of journeys by providing passengers with the ability to manage their travel plans conveniently from the comfort of their homes.

Initially, three trains including the Greenline train (Islamabad-Karachi-Islamabad) and two railcars (Lahore-Islamabad-Lahore) are connected to the RABTA application.
In addition to facilitating ticket bookings, the RABTA app offers users the convenience of reserving hotels, taxis, and meals directly through the platform. This feature promises a seamless and all-encompassing travel experience, enhancing convenience for users in various aspects of their journey.

- Select your preferred travel category from the options provided, such as economy or business class.
- Choose the desired class by clicking on the corresponding option.
- Proceed to confirm your selection, and the booking system will process your choice for the specified class.
- After choosing your preferred seats, proceed to the booking section.
- Click on the payment option and choose from Jazz Cash, Easy Paisa, or Debit Card.
- Provide the necessary details for the selected payment method.
- Confirm the payment to complete the seat booking process.
- Receive a confirmation of your booked seats, indicating that your payment has been successfully processed.
