In recent news, Pakistan and Korea are set to change the landscape of the electric vehicle through a partnership between Zi Solar, a leading renewable energy solution provider in Pakistan, and Aeonus, a Korean global leader in renewable energy.
Both companies will be working together to maintain the deployment of electric vehicles throughout the country and the respective storage components.
This further includes the research and development to further promote the electric charging infrastructure.
This partnership will profoundly reduce the dependency on the previous sources of energy and also reduce the oil import bill.
The collaboration will also support the Pakistan Electric Vehicles Policy 2020-2025 which primarily focuses on a 30 per cent and 90 per cent share in passenger vehicles and heavy-duty trucks by 2030 and 2040 respectively.
