Pakistan achieved highest Urea Production in 2021

Pakistan has achieved the highest ever urea production in 2021, due to extra gas allocated by the Petroleum sector, said Spokesperson to Finance Minister Muzzamil Aslam.

Spokesperson to Finance Minister Muzzamil Aslam tweeted on Wednesday, saying:

“Pakistan has achieved the highest ever urea production in 2021, due to extra gas allocated by the Petroleum sector. Thanks to the Election Coordination Commission (ECC) of Pakistan and Minister of Energy Hammad Azhar.

Moreover, Spokesperson to Finance Minister Muzzamil Aslam also said in a tweet today:

“Record urea production highest since 2009. The petroleum ministry has allocated extra gas to achieve this target.”

AL Habib Capital Markets Pvt. Ltd, a subsidiary of Bank Al Habib Ltd. shared Urea Sale Trends in Pakistan from 2009-2021 in a tweet, saying:

“Urea Sales of Pakistan increased by 5% Year on Year (YoY) to 6.34 million tons during the year 2021”:
