Korea ready to support Pakistan in Smartphones making

Sources confirmed that Suh Sangpyo, the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea has recently called Syed Amin-ul-Haque, the Federal Minister of IT and Telecommunication in the federal capital. Korea wanted to support Pakistan in the manufacturing and assembling of smartphones in Pakistan.

Meanwhile, the IT minister welcomed the Korean Ambassador in his office, during the meeting the matters of their mutual interests related to IT & Telecommunication were discussed to grow this sector more.

Both the sides agreed to further enhance the cooperation in the field of IT and Telecom.

Furthermore, the minister also urged that Korea is all set to support Pakistan in the manufacturing and assembling of smartphones in Pakistan.

Korean envoy was told about the remittance of Pakistan’s ICT that has surged to about $1.512 billion at a high growth rate of 43.59% just during the months from July-March of the FY 2020-21 right in comparison to the US $1.053 billion as during the same period of the last financial year.
